Whether you’re busy at work, on holiday, or just need a little “you” time, our experienced and reliable team will stop by to check on your pets, feed them, give them water, administer medications and provide much-needed attention. You can rest easy knowing your pets are in safe, loving hands. Pet Check-In Visits: All check-ins include feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, potty breaks, and any special care needs, including administering medications or injections. 20-Minute Visit – Quick care and basic needs : $26 30-Minute Visit (Most Popular) ⭐ – Feeding, playtime, enrichment: $30 40-Minute Visit – Extended care: $34 50-Minute Visit – High-energy or multi-pet households: $40 Overnight In-Home Care: 9 PM – 7 AM: $80 per night Services included with all check-ins and Overnights: Cats: Litter box scoop, clean/replenish food and water bowls, cuddles/playtime Dogs: Potty break, clean/replenish food and water bowls, cuddles/playtime Birds: Change cage bedding, clean/replenish food and water, chit-chat and sing songs All small pets (rodents, lizards, snakes, fish, turtles, etc.): clean/replenish food and water, cuddles/interaction Additional Services: Litter box deep clean: +$10 per litter box Fish tank cleaning: Starting at +$40 (varies by tank size) Rodent/lizard bedding change & cage clean: +$10 per cage Additional Information: Holidays: +$5 All prices listed do not include applicable taxes

At this time, we do not offer grooming or boarding services. We specialize in in-home pet care, allowing your pets to remain comfortable in their own environment.

 

What types of pets do you work with?

 

We specialize in all pet care at Ginger Tails. Whether you have dogs, cats, or other small household pets, each one receives the same professional, compassionate care.

 

Do you offer group walks or solo walks?

 

All services are provided as one-on-one care, ensuring your pet receives individual attention tailored to their needs and comfort.

 

How long are your visits or walks?

 

We offer a variety of visit lengths to suit your pet’s needs, which will be reviewed with you during your consultation.

Getting Started

 

Do I need a consultation before starting services?

 

Yes—an in-home consultation is required for all new clients. This allows us to meet you and your pet, review routines, and ensure we’re the right fit.

 

 

 

How do I book services?

 

All bookings and scheduling are managed through our client app, making it easy to request and manage your services.

Are you available on holidays?

 

Yes, we are available on all major holidays to ensure your pets continue to receive consistent care when you need it most.

Please note that a holiday service fee applies to bookings scheduled on these dates.

 

How far in advance should I book?

 

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during busy seasons and holidays, as availability can fill quickly.

 

Do you service clients outside of your service area?

 

We currently serve Fort Erie, Crystal Beach, Ridgeway, and Stevensville.

To maintain reliable scheduling and consistent care for our clients, we are not accepting bookings outside of these areas at this time.

 

Do I need to review any policies before starting services?

 

Yes. All clients are required to review and agree to our service policies prior to the start of care. This helps ensure a smooth and consistent experience for everyone.

Are your team members trained and vetted?

 

Absolutely. All Ginger Tails team members are carefully selected and undergo background checks before joining our team. Each team member is fully insured and bonded, and trained in Pet First Aid and CPR.

How do you access my home?

 

Your preferred method of entry will be securely discussed and documented during your consultation. Your home’s safety is always a priority.

 

Will I receive updates during visits?

 

Yes! You’ll receive detailed visit updates, including photos and videos, so you can stay connected and reassured while you’re away.

 

What happens in case of an emergency?

 

We take immediate action to ensure your pet’s safety and contact you right away while following your provided instructions.

Can you accommodate last-minute requests?

 

We’ll always do our best, but availability is not guaranteed for last-minute requests.
